He's got it, McDowell makes the birdie this time from almost the exact same distance as the previous hole. Great stuff, he's now second, trailing Scott by four and in line to be in the final pairing with the Australian tomorrow.
  • 18:30
Three-wood on the last from G-Mac and clears the cross bunkers to leave him in a great position. A birdie on the last would see him match Zach Johnson's 66 earlier in the day.
  • 18:33
Tiger misses the chance to get back level with McDowell as he pushes birdie attempt on 16 to the right. Here's McDowell from 175 yards.
  • 18:33
    Seven iron in his hand.
  • 18:35
Pin high yet again, about 20 feet to the left of the flag. The kind of put he has been makingtoday. Great chance for a three at the last.
  • 18:36
Great round of applause from the crowd and if the Irish fans at the course didn't get what they wanted from Harrington and McIlroy this morning, they certainly have from McDowell.
  • 18:39
McDowell's putt comes up short and he taps in for a par and a 67, matching his opening round. Seven under and right in the hunt for Sunday.
  • 18:40
Scott misses chance to extend his lead on 16 as he makes par.
  • 18:41
Snedeker makes his first birdie since the seventh hole with an eight-footer on 16. Back to six under.
  • 18:51
Woods makes par on 17 while the hugely impressive Olesen makes birdie to get back to level for his round and five under for the tournament.
  • 18:52
And Scott has found a bunker with his approach to 17.
  • 18:54
He's in the mouth of the smiley face bunker with a good distance to the green. Tough shot coming up.
  • 18:55
Superb effort from from Scott, leaves him a tap-in par,
  • 18:56
Which he duly does and he walks to the 18th tee with a four-shot lead.
  • 18:57
Tiger sets up a birdie chance at the last with a good approach, Can he draw level with McDowell on seven under?
  • 18:57
Olesen has bounced his approach off the clubhouse and faces a tough up and down.
  • 18:59
Iron off the tee on 18 from Scott and perfectly played down the middle of the fairway.
  • 19:00
Olesen has the putter out for his shot beside the clubhouse.
  • 19:01
And he leaves it a good 10-feet away for par.
  • 19:02
    Tiger stalking this putt.
  • 19:03
And he failed to hit it hard enough and taps in for a level-par 70.
  • 19:04
No Ole for Olesen on the final green as he makes a bogey five. One over for the day and four under for the tournament.
  • 19:05
Scott plays a sensible apprach to the 18th, two putts for a 68 and a four-shot lead.
  • 19:09
Snedeker makes his birdie putt on the last from long range and rescues a poor day late on to join McDowell on 7 under.
  • 19:10
Scott almost follows him in but knocks in the par. The Australian wil play with Graeme McDowell in the final pairing tomorrow, while Snedeker and Woods will be in the penultimate group.
  • 19:18
A brilliant day of golf then, with Adam Scott moving from a shot behind to a four-stroke lead going into the final round. Graeme McDowell's 67 was an outstanding round and could have been several strokes better if a few more shots dropped. Snedeker fought back well from a terrible start to keep his name in the hat, while Tiger is still very much in touch on 6 under. I'll throw up the leading tee-times when they are announced, while Philip Reid will be filing his end of play report in a wee while on The Irish Times website. And I'll be back again tomorrrow afternoon for what looks set to be a thrilling final round.
  • 19:40
