10:52Good morning for the final day of the Ryder Cup. Johnny Watterson and Ruaidhrí Croke will take you through a day in which the USA have to turn up big time for the singles event. It is expected that the Americans will improve on the previous two days - they usually do for the singles - which has left them trailing 10-6. The experts say the first five matches with McIlroy, Casey, Rose, Rahm and Fleetwood will be pivotal to the outcome and momentum of the European team. But no lead is safe on the final day.
Rory McIlroy is the top match and that begins shortly after 11.00am Irish time. He faces Justin Thomas, America's best player so far.
“He’s a fantastic player. He likes to play fast. He doesn’t like to be held up. He likes responsibility. So there’s a lot of reasons to send him out first. He feels like he’s in a place where he can go into that position and get the best out of himself," said captain Bjorn about McIlroy. In fifteen minutes he will get the chance to show just that.

10:58Here is the report of Irish Times Golf Correspondent Philip Reid from Saturday.

11:06McIlroy and Thomas make their way through the biggest grandstand in Ryder Cup history at the first hole. Sergio is down at the tee pumping up the fans. They are doing the Thunder Clap and Rory sticks his club in the air to encourage them. Thomas has the honour of teeing off first at the Golf National near Paris. Europe need four and a half points to win the Ryder Cup. Fasten you seat belts.
-
11:09Neither McIlroy or Thomas carves it into the water left, McIlroy's ball rolling just a little bit beyond that of Thomas down the middle of the fairway. Up next is Casey and Koepka with another English player Justin Rose following that against Webb Simpson.

11:13Thomas hits his 9-iron to 20 feet. Dry land at least. Rory's pitching wedge gives him a birdie chance first up. It's about eight feet from the pin. Super start from Europe's top player.
-
11:15"I went very much with their personalities," says captain Bjorn about his picks for the final day. "They are on their own today like they are week in week out."
-
11:17What an opening put from Thomas. He drains his from 20 feet, walking it in. Pressure on to McIlroy. Much closer McIlroy misses his birdie from less than half that distance. A little momentum swing already in favour of USA.

Brooks Koepka 🇺🇸 vs. Paul Casey 🇪🇺#RyderCup pic.twitter.com/o0EKAH9g0s
— PGA of America (@PGA) September 30, 2018 -
11:19Koepka and Casey are on the first tee. The word will have filtered back that McIlroy missed his short put and Thomas got his.
Koepka spilts the fairway with his first teen shot. Casey is also safe, twirling his club for good measure. -
11:22Par-3 second hole.Rory flies it over the water and finds the dance floor, Thomas a little wayward but safe. Advantage Rory on the second just as it was on the first. Would be nice to steal a hole back straight away. Rory is maybe 20 feet from the pin.
-
11:27Thomas comes out of the sand on the second hole. The slope takes it 12 feet past the cup. McIlroy hits his putt to gimme range and Thomas concedes. Thomas misses right on his putt back and the match is all square.
Casey misjudges his second to the first green and hits his iron too long with Koepka on the green. Advantage USA on the first hole. -
11:31Casey's ball finds sand behind the green. He splashes out but the ball rolls and rolls and rolls into the water. All adrenalin at the moment for Casey. Koepka goes one up.
Webb Simpson is safely off the first and followed by Rose. The first three pairs are up and running. -

11:34McIlroy v Thomas AS thru 2
Casey v Koepka USA 1 up thru 1
-
11:39Thomas finds sand at the third hole with his approach with McIlroy from fairway rough just off the green but much further away from the pin.
Rose is safely on the green at one. With the wind changing Webb Simpson stops to consider it with his caddie. He hits on the green too. Both have long putts.
Casey sinks a Monster putt on the second hole fist pumping. Koepka cannot match it and again Europe come back from a hole down at the first to win the second. -
11:44McIlroy challenges Thomas with a birdie on the third, his 10 foot putt falling for him. The American is not up to it from six feet, his putt lipping out. So, Rory has turned it around very nicely and goes 1 up.
Tiger is on the first tee with Rahm. It's all causing a bit of a stir. Both hit irons safely down the middle. No water found yet from the first tee in the first four pairings -

11:50Tiger's second to the first green flies well over the flag. A long putt coming up. Rahm hits a beauty to four feet bringing the crowd to their feet.
Rory is in the thick hay on the right at the fourth hole. He hacks it out and the ball falls just short of the green. That's good from what he had. Thomas misses the green but he's in better shape than Rory. -
11:53Pretty good putt from Tiger on the first hole from long range. It never threatened to go in but Rahm concedes the par putt. The Spaniard from four feet away jams it in for birdie to go one up.
-
11:56Rose misses a tiddlet from two feet on the second hole to drop one behind Webb Simpson. Don't see that very often. He shakes his head in disbelief at the mistake.
Fleetwood and Finau are on the first. Tommy has played 4 and won 4 so far. Both players hit the fairway. Nobody has missed the first fairway so far. -
12:00The putter is working for Rory. Thomas misses his from 15 feet and Rory drains his from 12 feet to go two holes up thru 4. All that after losing the first hole.
Rory 2 up thru 4 v Thomas
Casey v Koepka thru 3 AS
Rose 1 down thru 2 v Simpson
Rahm 1 up thru 1 v Tiger. -
12:06Fleetwood splashes out from the bunker at the first hole and his ball follows that of Casey, across the green and into the water.
-
12:11Poulter and Dustin Johnson are on the first tee. Poulter put one in the water before today. But Johnson is good. Poulter follows straight down the fairway. Half the singles are out.
Rory has hacked out of the rough twice to get on to the fifth green. Thomas is in the hole and Rory has a 12 foot left to right swinger to halve the hole. He knocks it left and it curls slowly around and falls. The putts are dropping for Rory at the moment. He remains 2 up thru five holes. -

12:16Tiger’s just a little short and left of the green at three, and Rahm is on the green. This is a par 5 folks. Rahm remains one up.
6th hole Rory's pitch flies the flag and spins back. That's a good birdie look for him. 2 up could be 3 up shortly. -
12:20Thomas slides his putt past from 15 feet. But Rory finally misses and his shorter effory misses right
Koepka goes 1 up against Casey thru 5.
Fleetwood is struggling with the opening holes and he has fallen 2 down to Finau thru 2 holes. Rose is also 2 down to Webb thru 3. -

12:23There is a noticeable trend not to give short putts today. After Rose missing his tiddler early doors everybody appears to be asked to take two and three footers. It actually adds a bit of drama to the spectacle.

Poulter makes sure he stays dry, sending his tee shot to the back of the green.
-
12:33McIlroy is scrambling wonderfully today and holds on to his two hole lead over Thomas thru 7 holes. His approach to six fell short and on the fringe. Easy just take out a wedge and throw it high in the air bouncing the ball on the fringe to kill it and allow it trickle down to two feet from the pin. Some natural ability on show in the top match..

12:53Sergio continues his good form. Or rather Fowler is making him look good. The American has just missed a short one on the second to give Garcia a two hole lead after two holes. Most unlike Fowler who is an excellent putter. Has to be said Sergio did fly in a wedge in to eight feet.
-
12:56Wow Thomas hits a beauty putt from 15 feet at the 9th but it is just short. That would have drawn him level with Rory at the turn. Rory had to scramble again to get his par, splashing out from the greenside bunker to gimme distance. Good psychologically for McIlroy hitting the turn still ahead.

Poulter has joined Garcia in going 2 up against Johnson, who is using a different putter for the final day. The Englishman drops his uphill 12-footer. That's cause for celebration. Go on Poulter fist pump away.

-
13:2012th hole - Thomas iron approach and by his body language he doesn't like it. That's why. His ball bounces long on the green and straight into the rough at the back. And it is long in there. Rory doesn't quite capitalise and leaves his approach on the fringe of the green from 187 yards. He is in better position but has to hope Thomas does not get up and down.

Thanks Johnny. So, a little bit of a red wave starting here now and the USA need it to be tidal – they’re still well in this with so many of the matches so close.
It also helps that two of the European’s main men, Rose and Fleetwood, are being beaten in matches that they would be expected to win.
This next hour or so is absolutely crucial in the direction in which the trophy will go this evening.
At the seventh Poulter has just missed from six feet for the half which levels that game up with Johnson.
Let’s go!
Scores
McIlroy v Thomas (AS through 12)
Casey v Koepka (Europe 1 up through 10)
Rose v Simpson (USA 3 up through 8)

Europe look to be on their way to the 14.5 points needed to win the cup back but things can change so, so quickly and so many games are still right in the balance.
The top match has reached the 13th and both players have found the green with McIlroy about 15 feet and Thomas 20 feet.
After that missed putt to halve at the last Poulter is looking to hit right back with a gorgeous approach to five feet at the seventh while Johnson is off the green and in the deep rough to the left.
-
13:37
This top match is so, so important for the momentum of the whole day and McIlroy once again burns the edge for birdie at the 13th.
However, after Thomas rolled his birdie putt eight feet past he failed to make the one back and McIlroy takes a one up lead to the 14th.
Elsewhere there are some surprising scorelines. At the sixth Olesen has just won a third hole in a row to go three up on Spieth while Finau has made a raker for birdie at the eighth to now go four up on Fleetwood.
This is some playing from the American.
-
13:42
With all games now on the course it's getting tricky to keep on top of everything but don't worry, plenty of scores will be posted to keep you up to date.
If McIlroy can take that top match you have to fancy Europe to kick on from there, especially with Spieth also being well beaten by Olesen - it's hard to know where else the inspiration is going to come from for the US.
Maybe the answer will be Tiger Woods who has looked right out of sorts this week. At the Par 5 ninth he has launched a majestic towering long iron on to the green about 12 feet from the pin for eagle ... and he's holed it!
That gets him back to one down against Rahm.
And, over at the 12th, Koepka has rolled in a lovely birdie putt to get his game back to all square with Casey.
Scores
McIlroy v Thomas (Europe 1 up through 13)
Casey v Koepka (All square through 12)
Rose v Simpson (USA 3 up through 9)
Rahm v Woods (Europe 1 up through 9)

Hatton v Reed (AS through 3)
Stenson v Watson (AS through 2)
Noren v DeChambeau (AS through 2)

13:44
Woods follows that putt with a big fist pump and, for the first time this week he looks alive. That could be an omen.
In the sixth match Poulter has got back to one up with a win at the seventh after Johnson missed a six footer for the half.
The second match between Koepka and Casey will also be so important and it looks like Casey has found the water with his tee shot at the 12th after losing the previous hole.
-
13:46
The hapless Phil Mickelson has been shocking this week and he's now three down to Molinari after five with the Italian looking to claim a stunning five points from five.
Europe are now up in seven, down in two and all square in three. It's looking good for the home team.
-
13:53
If Rose could turn his game around against Simpson you would really fancy Europe but, for now, he can't. A good birdie chance to win the hole at the 10th slips past the right edge and he remains three down.
Back to the top game we go. After Thomas found the green in two at the Par 5 14th the pressure was on McIlroy who missed the green on the right.
He responded with a beautiful flop shot to six feet but then missed the putt for birdie! That gifts Thomas the hole there and square up the match.
Over at the eighth Johnson held his nerve over an eight footer for par to halve the hole with Poulter and remain one down.
Scores
McIlroy v Thomas (AS through 14)

13:54
Add some more red to that board!
At the 13th a birdie for Koepka gives him a second hole in a row and puts the American one up with five to play.
It might be just starting to turn...
-
13:56
Tony Finau is red hot today and he is hammering Fleetwood who looks to have run into a wall.
His birdie at the ninth is enough to give him a fifth hole in a row and send him five up!
And there's more red in the bottom match where DeChambeau has birdied the Par 5 third to take the lead against Noren.
And you can add even more red to that!
That's because Reed has held a tramliner at the fifth to go one up over Hatton.
The red wave is incoming.
-
13:58
No such problems for Stenson at the fourth who has used the two putts he had at the fourth to take another hole over Watson and move to two up.
After halving the 10th in pars, Rahm has taken the initiative at the Par 3 11th by firing his tee shot right over the pin to 15 feet while Woods face a tough 30 footer across the green for his birdie.
-
13:59
Phil Mickelson finally joins the party!
At the Par 4 sixth he has sunk a huge putt from 50 feet to win the hole and get back to two down against Molinari.
Over at the Olesen has made yet another putt against the shellshocked Spieth and the Dane - who hasn't played since Friday morning - is now four up in that one.
-
14:03
Back to the crucial top game.
At the trecherous Par 4 15th both McIlroy and Thomas found the fairway with their tee shots and it's Thomas who gets in first with an approach to 15 feet, pin high on the right.
McIlroy now need to respond and he does!
He puts it inside Thomas and will look at 10 feet or so for birdie. But, as we know with matchplay, Thomas has the chance to make first and put big pressure on his opponent.
Back at the 11th neither Woods nor Rahm can find the hole with their birdie putts and they have to settle for a half in pars to keep Rahm one up.
-
14:06
Justin Thomas cannot believe how his putt didn't go in at the 15th. It was in all the way, at dead weight and somehow, somehow, managed to trickly right at the end and stay out.
That gives McIlroy 10 feet to win the hole and take the lead but his putt lips out!
That game stays all level now going down the 16th with all to play for.
Back at the 10th Fleetwood has finally found some of his putting magic from the first two days to make a birdie and win the hole against Finau. He goes back to four down.
At the ninth Johnson has made a great 12 footer to half the hole and remain one down to Poulter while Rose stays three down to Simpson after he made a putt for the half of a similar length at the 13th.
-
14:11
Thomas goes with eight iron at the Par 3 16th and stares it down all the way until it pitches 15 feet to the right. Lovely shot.
Same club for McIlroy over the water but he pulls it slightly left where it finishes 20 feet away but then catches the slope and rolls down to about 15 feet!
At the sixth Hatton has made a birdie to get back to all square against Reed while Stenson is now three up against Watson thanks to a third birdie in a row at the fifth.
Over at the 11th Fleetwood might be starting to mount a charge thanks to a gorgeous tee shot at the Par 3 which finishes two feet behind the hole and could well be enough to cut that scoreline to three up.
Europe now up in six, down in four and all square in two.

Once again McIlroy's birdie putt at the 16th slips agonisingly past and he has to settle for a par.
Thomas also can't find the birdie and that game remains all square going down the 17th.
Neither player seems able to take the initiative there.
Over at the Par 3 11th Fleetwood's ball actually rolled out to more like eight feet. First up is Finau and he drains his birdie putt!
That puts the pressure on Fleetwood and he can't respond - he really looks out of gas today. He now goes back to five down and looks as good as beaten.
But five up is also the score in the seventh match where Olesen is just wiping the floor with Spieth. Another birdie at the ninth for the Dane is enough to put him five up while Molinari is back to three up over Mickelson through seven.
-
14:23
What an effort this is from Olesen.
After playing the first morning and then sitting out the afternoon and all day yesterday he is absolutely hammering the USA's best player this week and making a big point in doing so.
Back to the top match we go.
Thomas found the fairway at the 17th and immediately took the advantage with McIlroy in the rough. Thomas fires a lovely approach in to 12 feet while McIlroy's effort bounds through the green from a horror lie.
This isn't looking great for Europe now in the first match.
And we have two more matches back to all square.
At the 12th Woods has sunk a 12 footer for birdie to win the hole and he gives it a massive fist pump, looking really fired up.
Meanwhile, at the 10th two putts are enough for Johnson to win the hole and get back to all square against Poulter while DeChambeau is now two up against Noren in the final match after five.
Is this comeback happening?
Europe are now up in just four, down in five and all square in three. Tense.

Europe are winning none of the first six matches and this is now getting very, very tight with an American victory becoming more possible by the second.
But that top match still remains all square after a magnificent up and down from McIlroy!
After a fantastic McIlroy pitch from the back of the green, Thomas missed his birdie putt and McIlroy holed out for the par to steal the half and send it up the last all square.
-
14:28
THE RED WAVE IS GETTING STRONGER!
At the 11th Johnson has gone and sunk what must have been a 70 footer for birdie!
What a putt that was! He greets it with a massive fist pump and it's enough to win the hole as Poulter fails to make his putt for a half.
USA now lead in six, trail in four and are all square in two.
Simple equation now: if they win those six and turn the two level matches into wins then they retain the Ryder Cup.
This top match is so crucial. Lets go there now.
-
14:30
And it's advantage USA at the 18th.
Thomas launched a driver straight down the middle of the fairway to leave just a wedge in while McIlroy has found a little pot bunker on the right and may now be stopped from going for the green.
This is getting very, very dodgy for Europe.
Back at the 16th Casey's putt for birdie refuses to turn in and he has to settle for a half with Koepka to remain one down.
Meanwhile, at the 13th, Woods has stuck his approach to about 15 feet while Rahm will have 20 feet for his birdie in that game which is all square.
-
14:33
It is an absolute nightmare for McIlroy at the 18th.
After his ball plugged in the face of the bunker his hack at it failed to get it out of the sand and that game looks to be as good as won for Thomas now if he can just find the green with his second.
Back at the 11th Spieth has finally won a hole to cut the defecit to four down against Olesen.
-
14:35
McIlroy is forced to go for the green from a deep bunker 187 yards out and it just never had a chance, hitting the face, spinning into the water and sinking his hopes.
Thomas is all set to take the first point of the day for the USA.
-
14:35
At the 13th Europe get some blue on the board courtesy of a par for Rahm after Woods had trouble off the tee.
Originally it seemed like his approach was his second shot but it was actually his third and Europe go one up there.
-
14:37
Justin Thomas takes the first point of the day for the USA!
A super approach from Thomas lands eight feet from the pin and gives him the win over McIlroy although it is unfortunate the curcumstances in which it ended.
Europe 10 USA 7
-
14:40
Paul Casey now really needs to salvage something from his game with Koepka and he's doing his very best.
A stunning approach to the 17th leaves him with four feet for the birdie while Koepka is over the back. That should be enough to send that game down the 18th as well.
Down towards the bottom of the order Stenson has found a birdie at the seventh to go three up on Watson while Molinari is now just two up on Mickelson after a disaster at the eighth.
-
14:46
Big putt from Casey!
He sinks the five footer at the 17th to level the game up and send himself and Koepka down the 18th at all square.
Over at the 13th Fleetwood has held a good putt to continue that match but heis now dormie five down while Garcia has gone two up over Fowler at the 10th.
At the 15th Simpson has won another hole to now take a dormie three up lead over Rose.
This is getting very, very tense.

Okay, to the 18th we go.
Casey and Koepka both found the fairway with Casey up first and he's played a lovely approach to the heart of the green, leaving 25 feet for birdie.
Next up is Koepka and he hates it!
He pulls it dead left where it lands in the greenside bunker. Advantage Europe there.
At the 14th this Woods and Rahm match is becoming more and more key by the second. After missing the green in two at the Par 5 Rahm played a lovely pitch and run up to five feet while Woods has about four feet for his par.
Great chance there for Rahm to go ahead.
And it's better news for Europe at the 13th where Poulter is in the middle of the green and Johnson has put his approach in the water!
-
14:51
Rahm misses his birdie putt!
But it doesn't matter because Woods has missed his par putt from even closer!
Shocking stuff there from both players but, at the end of it all, Rahm wins the hole and goes two up with four to play.
Back to the 18th we go.
-
14:53
Casey and Koepka halve the second match!
A lovely bunker shot from Koepka leaves him with five feet for the par and leaves Casey with 25 feet for the match.
His putt looks good all the way but slips past on the left!
That leaves the pressure on Koepka to hole out for the half point but there is a reason this man has won two Majors this year.
He holes out no problem and it's a half point each in that one.
Europe 10.5 USA 7.5
Europe need just four more points to win the Ryder Cup.
-
14:58
Simpson beats Rose to win the third match!
What a performance from this man this week.
After two excellent tee shots at the Par 3 16th to about 12 feet each, Rose was up first and holed his putt.
But it didn't matter for Simpson who followed him right in to take the match 3&2 and put another point on the board for the US.
Lets not forget that Europe just need four more points to win and they're up in five.
And it's good news for Europe at the 13th where Poulter has picked up a hole against Johnson after the American found the water to get it back to all square.
In the bottom match Noren has got it back to just one down against DeChambeau. If he can turn that around it could be huge.
However, Mickelson is also looking to turn his game around.
Liek a phoenix rising from the ashes he walks in his birdie putt at the 11th to win the hole against Molinari and get it back to just one down.
Scores
McIlroy v Thomas (USA win one up)

Finau beats Fleetwood to take the fifth match!
Well the American was juts a brick wall for the magic Fleetwood today and he takes a deserved point on the 14th with a 5&4 win.
The gap in the score is now just one point...
Europe 10.5 USA 9.5

15:02
USA need Woods to turn it around against Rahm, big time. If he can do so the comeback will be a very, very real possibility.
However, Rahm is not letting him do so.
At the 15th he finds the middle of the green while Woods sends his approach 30 feet past the pin.
Back at the 12th Garcia has made a stunning birdie from the left rough to just halve that hole with Fowler and stay two up.
-
15:06
Rahm does what he needs to do by two-putting for par after Woods had done the same.
He remains two up with three to play and on the verge of a much-needed European win.
Over at the 14th there is more good news for Europe where Poulter has 10 feet for birdie while Johnson missed the green with his approach. With that game at all square a point there could turn it all.
Europe are now up in five, down in two and all square in one but some of the games are so, so close.
-
15:09
What a win for Poulter!
After a poor pitch from Johnson at the 14th, Poulter sinks his birdie putt and goes one up with 15 to play.
That's huge.
Scores
McIlroy v Thomas (USA win one up)

15:11
Woods needs something special and he's started well with his approach at the 16th to 12 feet.
Rahm faces a long birdie putt there which means Woods could well have a putt to reduce the defecit to one hole.
At the 11th Reed has increased his lead over Hatton with a birdie to go three up while Molinari is now two up through 12 on Mickelson.
-
15:16
Rahm rolls his putt down to a few feet nicely but that leaves Woods now with a putt to win the hole...
And he misses. It's just not the Tiger we saw last week at all these three days.
But he is given an absolute gift by Rahm! The Spaniard has slid his for par right and Woods takes the hole!
They now go down the 17th with Rahm just one up. That could be a turning point.
Over at the 13th there is good news for the US where Fowler has pitched in for birdie to win the hole against Garcia and get that game back to one down.
And back at the ninth Noren has got another hole back against DeChambeau to square the match up.
-
15:17
Ian Poulter!
After Johnson found the water with his approach at the 15th Poulter has fired a beauty in to about 12 feet and that should be enough to go two up with three to play.
-
15:23
Olesen beats Spieth to win the seventh match and take a first point of the day for Europe!
What a performance this has been from the Dane today in absolutely steamrolling Spieth after sitting out all day yesterday.
And over at the 15th it's a huge win for Poulter after Johnson had found the water. The Englishman now goes into the last three holes two up.
Europe up in five, down in one and all square in one.

If Rahm can beat Woods the trophy should be well on its way to Europe and he looks like he is about to do so!
A stunning approach to the 16th has left him with five feet for the birdie while Woods is off the green left after driving in the rough.
This could be it!
-
15:27
Dustin Johnson!
What a putt that is at the 16th where he's holed out for birdie from 60 feet!
From about 30 feet closer Poulter can't match him and his lead is now cut to just one hole with two to play.
-
15:29
Rahm beats Woods to win the fourth match and put Europe within two points of winning the Ryder Cup!
No mistake from the Spaniard in rolling his birdie putt right into the centre of the hole to condemn Woods to his fourth loss of the week from four matches a week after his amazing comeback win.
Life moves fast.
Europe up in four, down in one and all square in one.
Europe 12.5 USA 9.5
-
15:30
At the 11th Stenson has holed another good birdie putt to go four up over Watson with seven to play.
The question is starting to become who will hole the winning putt?
-
15:35
Poulter and Johnson both stripe their drives down the 17th fairway. Poulter, up first, sends a beauty in to eight feet!
With Johnson over the back that could be enough to seal that match and move Europe within a point.
At the 14th Garcia has won the hole to go two clear against Fowler and he looks like he may just be the man to make the winning putt which would be perfectly fitting given the criticism of his pick.
-
15:42
No joy for Poulter!
After a lovely up and down from Johnson, Poulter had a birdie putt for the match but it lips out on the right and that match goes up the 18th with Poulter one up.
At the 15th it's advantage Garcia even more so now after he found the fairway with his tee shot while Fowler pushed his into the water.
At the 14th Molinari has made another birdie to go three up on Mickelson while Stenson is now five up on Watson after a par at the 12th.

15:47
Bad news for Garcia at the 15th.
After Fowler had found the water with his tee shot the Spaniard then stuck his approach into the water.
He's now on the green for four while Fowler is on the back for three.
At the 18th Johnson found the fairway with his drive before Poulter, pumped full of adrenaline, fired one right past him.
-
15:52
Back to the 18th we go.
After a so-so approach from Johnson to leave about 60 feet for birdie Poulter has the chance to put the hammer down and he does so with a magnificent approach to eight feet!
That should be the game and will put Europe within a point of victory.
Over at the 15th Garcia misses his putt for bogey, meaning Fowler's par there is enough to get it back to just one up for Garcia.
-
15:53
At the 13th Stenson had 30 feet to win the hole and win the match but his putt slips past.
That's a half and he now goes to the 14th dormie five up.
So it could be Stenson then to hole the winner.
Back to the 18th we go.

15:57
Poulter beats Johnson to win the sixth match and put Europe within a point of the Ryder Cup!
Johnson gave his putt a great run for the birdie but it missed left and he conceded Poulter's putt to put Europe on the brink.

Molinari can barely speak.
What a year it's been for the Italian. From winning his first Major at the Open Championship to taking the winning point in the Ryder Cup with a perfect five games, five wins record.
Simply sensational.
USA were supposed to win this Ryder Cup. Europe haven;t just beaten them, they've crushed them.

Add a Gaercia victory to that total to make it 16.5 after he halved the 17th with Fowler to get the win.

That point for Garcia is historic as well in that it edges him to 25.5 total points in Ryder Cups and makes him the leading point scorer in Ryder Cup history.
So, back to that criticism of Bjorn for picking Garcia on the team...
Over at the 14th Noren has hit probably the shot of the week with a three wood to three feet at the Par 5 to go one up.
It must be so bizarre for those players still out there while these chaotic celebrations go on around them.

In fairness to DeChambeau he got up and down from the drop zone for his bogey four and that's also the best Noren could manage so they go down the 17th with Noren one up.
Both are rookies and both want points for their personal records but it just gets farcical with all of these celebrations going on around them. The tee markers weren't even there on the 16th anymore after a few fans had nicked them!
-
16:46
Would Bryson just do us all a favour and concede that match to Noren?
