    Good afternoon!

Welcome to our coverage of the opening day of the 2017 Punchestown Festival.

The dust has barely settled since a thrilling week in Cheltenham, but already we stand on the brink of the end of the jumps season.

But before the curtain comes down on a vintage few months there is plenty more to enjoy - starting with three grade ones today.

We'll be bringing you all the action from Kildare between now and Saturday, as Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott trade those final few blows in a bid to be crowned champion trainer.

    Enjoy, and be lucky.

    Come on!!!
