Yesterday's Gold Cup was a thriller, with Sizing John completing his hat-trick - after wins at Leopardstown and Cheltenham - in the gutsiest of styles.

Under a brilliant ride from Robbie Power he gamely pipped Djakadam on the bob - with Coneygree running a brilliant comeback race in third. You can read Brian O'Connor's full report of the epic HERE.

Next up, it's the day's feature race - the Stayers Hurdle. This looks to be a fascinating renewal, with Cheltenham hero Nichols Canyon taking on raider Unowhatimeanharry, who was beaten into third after starting an odds-on favourite to take the race last month.

That Nichols Canyon win was one of four winners for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh on a magic day Thursday at Prestbury Park - and Mullins needs another win here if he is to have a chance of overturning Gordon Elliott in the race for the trainers title.

Mullins has four runners here, and Brian O'Connor believes the pick of them is Footpad.

The runners are down to the start, expect a steady pace.
