35 mins: John Small is now shown a black card! He and Sean Ó Sé have been wrestling each other off the ball a number of times throughout the half and eventually it's the Dublin man who pays the price. It's all a bit niggly out there. Philly McMahon replaces Small.  (Dublin 1-8 Kerry 0-8)

  • 17:02

    GOAL FOR DUBLIN!

42 mins: Already the Dubs look to be putting this beyond Kerry. Kilkenny is the latest to get on the scoresheet as he reacts quick enough to a breaking ball in the square to bundle it home.  (Dublin 2-10 Kerry 0-8)

  • 17:04
44 mins: Kerry already look to have had the wind knocked out of them a little. Those few quick scores at the start of this half have opened up an eight point lead for the Dubs and Kerry are now 20 minutes without a score.  (Dublin 2-10 Kerry 0-8)
  • 17:06
46 mins: That should have been a third goal for the Dubs but Murphy saved well for Kerry. Brian Howard got the ball outside the square with his back to goal, turned beautifully and shot towards goal but Murphy made a good save. Basquel adds a point to increase Dublin's lead to nine points.  (Dublin 2-11 Kerry 0-8)
  • 17:07
47 mins: Dublin hit the post! It's Rock who is the latest to have a go with a lobbed effort over Murphy which hits the post and rebounds out. Dublin look like they can score whenever they want now.  (Dublin 2-11 Kerry 0-8)
  • 17:07
48 mins: And they do so. Scully flips a close range point over and it's now 10 points that is the difference.  (Dublin 2-12 Kerry 0-8)
  • 17:09
49 mins: And there's another one. Andrews clips over with his right foot and Kerry are well and truly dead and buried now. They have been since the first minute of the second half, really. Since the break Dublin have notched up 1-5 without reply.  (Dublin 2-13 Kerry 0-8)
  • 17:12

  • 17:24
65 mins: Cian O'Sullivan has been down for a minute or so now with what looks to be a bad enough injury. He seemed to fall awkwardly, clutching his right arm and has now been stretchered off with that arm in a sling.  (Dublin 2-15 Kerry 0-10)
  • 17:25
  • 17:28
68 mins: Philly McMahon gets his first point on the board after a barreling run from Michael Darragh MacAuley.  (Dublin 2-16 Kerry 0-10)

  • 17:30
70 mins: Cormac Costello marks his return to the Dublin team with a point from his left foot.  (Dublin 2-17 Kerry 0-11)

FULL TIME: DUBLIN 2-17 KERRY 0-11

Talk about a non-contest. It's the league, it's only March, it's a young Kerry team and so on but that's a big marker set down by Dublin. The fitness levels in particular are worlds apart.

  • 17:37

So, that's that from Croke Park. Dublin have run riot against kerry, gone back to the top of Division 1 and all but secured a place in the league final while Kerry could face some relegation bother.

That's all from me for today, stay tuned to www.irishtimes.com/sport for reports and reaction from around the grounds, bye!
